What is an Unemployed Fishermen?

 

An Unemployed Fishermen IS a person who encounters and follows Jesus Christ. 

 

"So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him." Luke 5:11

 

 

 

Something monumental shifts when we say YES to Jesus.

We leave behind our old purpose and new priorities shift to HIS calling.

 

We willingly step away from the common to the uncommon. 

Whatever our old identites were, we take on new ones.

 

We walk in the footsteps of this original group who left the Sea of Galilee and went from "Professional Fishermen"

to "Unemployed Fishermen"

- all because of an encounter with Jesus Christ.
